We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer to strengthen quality engineering practices within the project of our Client — a global leader in threat detection and screening technologies.
The project involves development and integration of an advanced business-workflow orchestration solution within a secure inspection platform. The goal is to enable seamless data ingestion, processing, storage, and retrieval for complex inspection processes, ensuring high availability, scalability, and strict access control. The domain covers security screening, data management, and operational analytics for large‑scale on-premises environments.
In this role, you will contribute to the implementation of the QA strategy, develop and maintain automation frameworks, and ensure high-quality delivery aligned with business goals. As a hands-on technical expert, you will be responsible for building and maintaining automated test solutions, contributing to performance testing activities, and collaborating closely with the Development, Product, and QA teams members. Responsibilities: * Contribute to implementation of QA strategy aligned with the project goals and risks * Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation testing frameworks for back-end and/or UI layers * Develop and maintain automated test suites (API, UI, integration) * Ensure automation coverage for critical business flows and non-functional requirements * Integrate and maintain automated tests within CI/CD pipelines * Maintain test reliability, readability, and execution efficiency * Participate in performance testing activities * Design and implement performance/load/stress tests * Analyze results and collaborate with the team to address bottlenecks * Cover key non-functional requirements, including performance, reliability, and scalability * Participate in test planning, refinement, and release activities * Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria * Identify quality risks and propose mitigation actions * Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and automation practices
Requirements: * 5+ years of experience in QA with a strong focus on test automation * Proven hands-on experience with automation frameworks (Robot Framework is a must) * Strong experience in API testing and back-end validation * Solid understanding of performance testing methodologies and tools * Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines * Strong knowledge of SDLC, test design techniques, and risk-based testing * Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Good communication and collaboration skills * English level — Upper-Intermediate or higher
Will be a plus: * Knowledge of Python * Experience with Playwright
