We build SaaS products that support electronic trading, brokerage operations, risk management, and financial data analysis. We are looking for an Senior DevOps engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
— Creation and optimization of an automated system for assembly, testing, and deployment of products (CI/CD) in various systems and locations (Nomad, Kubernetes) — Control of security and data protection, including cooperation with regulatory bodies, legal specifics of data security in different regions of the world (Europe, North America, and Middle East) — Implementation, together with the DevOps and SRE team, of systems for monitoring the state of products and infrastructure, control of infrastructure costs — Ensuring the stability and availability of infrastructure and products — Participation, together with the team, in incident elimination and failure cause analysis. Participation in post-mortem meetings and planning improvements if necessary — Carrying out routine work on updating systems — Creation and support of own solutions for automation of DevOps processes — Participation, together with the team, in periodic knowledge-dump sessions, internal trainings on the use of tools developed by the DevOps team — Creation and support of internal documentation (language: Ukrainian, English) — Participation in software release planning, discussions on infrastructure requirements with stakeholders and company management — Participation in support, together with the team, on issues of infrastructure, CI/CD processes, and software testing process automation — Deployment of infrastructure, orchestration and monitoring systems, databases — Creation, maintenance, and verification of information backup systems — Support of users (managers, developers, and testers) in matters relating to software deployment systems (CI/CD).
Requirements:
— 5+ years of experience in software integration, infrastructure management, and DevOps practices; — Mastery of the HashiCorp Stack, including expert-level proficiency with Nomad, Consul, Vault, Terraform, and Packer; — Advanced Kubernetes Expertise, covering managed (GKE) and on-prem solutions, with deep knowledge of Helm, ArgoCD, Argo Rollouts, Flux CD, and SSO integration; — Expert understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management using Terraform and Ansible; — In-depth experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically managing VPC, GKE, Firewall, Cloud Storage, Compute Engine, and Artifact Registry; — Proficiency in Containerization, including building, deploying, and orchestrating containers using Docker, containerd, or Podman; — Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts and pipeline automation using GitLab; — Exceptional technical experience in Operating Systems, with a focus on Linux (85% Debian-like, 15% RHEL-like) and basic familiarity with the Windows Family (5%); — Advanced knowledge of Networking Fundamentals, including switching, routing, load balancing, and name resolution; — Proficiency in Programming and Scripting with Bash and Python for automation and tool development; — Skilled in Logging and Monitoring systems, including Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, and the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana); — Solid experience in Traffic Management and Load Balancing using HAProxy, KrakenD, and the Kubernetes Gateway API; — Proficiency with Databases and Data Stores, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB; — Experience with Caching solutions and Message Brokers, specifically Redis, Memcached, RabbitMQ, and Kafka; — English: B2
Nice to have:
— Proficiency in Programming with a focus on Golang for developing high-performance tools and microservices; — Expertise in Virtualization solutions specifically for bare-metal platforms; — Experience with high-load systems, demonstrating the ability to manage and scale infrastructure under extreme peak loads; — Experience with hybrid infrastructures, including multi-cloud environments, cloud + bare-metal setups, and heterogeneous operating systems; — Knowledge of Cilium and implementing cross-cluster connectivity via Cluster-mesh; — Understanding of Dynamic Routing based on the BGP protocol for network scalability and redundancy; — Expertise in building and managing VPN tunnels, including OpenVPN and IPSec for secure inter-site connectivity.
