Our client looking for a backend-heavy engineer to architect the infrastructure that turns vague human intent into precise, autonomous agent actions.
The product leverages AI to automate development workflows and dramatically increase R&D productivity. Already in production with active customers, the team is now scaling both the technology and impact.
Key Requirements: 7+ Years Experience: Deep expertise in engineering high-stakes software; Scale-Tested: 3+ years on a customer-facing team. Proven track record of delivering complex features for production systems and solving high-impact bugs in mature environments; Stack: Expert Python (Django preferred), proficient React; Cloud & DevOps: Experience with AWS and CI/CD pipelines; Databases: Strong knowledge of MySQL (or equivalent relational DBs); experience with graph and vector databases is a plus; AI Native: Power user of Claude and Cursor; comfortable leveraging AI tools in daily workflows; Agent Expert: Proven experience building AI agents in production; able to move beyond basic prompts to create reliable, deterministic agentic systems; API & Testing: Skilled in building and consuming APIs; experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., PyTest); Frontend: Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks; English — Upper-Intermediate or higher.
What you will do: Orchestrate: Develop production-grade AI agent workflows that manage their own validation loops; Architect: Build Python services that bridge the gap between high-level requirements and technical execution; Streamline: Create systems that allow developers to manage a fleet of autonomous workstreams, eliminating the manual coordination that stalls modern R&D; Customer Impact: Rapidly address customer feedback by fixing bugs and implementing new requirements, ranging from small UI tweaks to complex backend features; Feature Development: Design and deliver new capabilities for the platform, especially deep AI-driven features and integrations with customer systems; End-to-End Ownership: Take full responsibility for tasks from initial concept through to production deployment, including testing and validation; Collaboration: Communicate directly with customers as needed to understand their needs, present solutions, and gather feedback; Product Mindset: Actively participate in product discussions, propose improvements, and help shape the direction of the platform; Proactive Problem Solving: Identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement before they become bottlenecks;
