Cloudaware is a leading cloud management and CMDB platform serving enterprise organizations with significant cloud footprints. Founded 13 years ago, we’ve grown to nearly 50 employees across two primary engineering centers. Our platform, built on Salesforce with a Google Cloud backend, helps organizations assess and remediate gaps in their cloud management programs through deep integrations with leading security and observability tools
The Opportunity We’re seeking an exceptional leader to transform our Ukrainian engineering team from a collection of talanted individual contributors into a cohesive, product-driven organization. This role represents a unique opportunity to take ownership of critical product capabilities—including Breeze (our enterprise DevOps fabric), vulnerability scanning, intrusion detection, patch management, identity management, log management, and TunHub—and elevate them to best-in-class offerings deeply integrated with our core CMDB platform.
The Challenge Our Ukrainian team consists of highly skilled engineers who have built powerful modules including: • Breeze: Enterprise DevOps fabric (similar to Chef/Puppet/Ansible) with 100+ plugins for CrowdStrike, Sophos, Tenable, New Relic, DataDog, and more. • Vulnerability Scanning: Custom scanning solution with multi-vendor integrations • TunHub: Reverse IPsec tunnel service (similar to Cloudflare Tunnel) • Intrusion Detection, Patch Management, Identity Management, and Log Management modules These engineers excel at execution but have explicitly chosen to remain individual contributors rather than evolve into product owners or team builders. The modules they’ve built often lack the deep CMDB integration that our third-party integrations achieve. Your mission is to provide the vision, product leadership, and bridge-building that will unlock this team’s full potential. What You’ll Do Product Vision & Strategy • Develop a comprehensive product roadmap for the security and DevOps product portfolio that aligns with market needs and Cloudaware’s strategic direction
• Transform individual modules into cohesive, market-leading product offerings
• Identify opportunities for deeper integration with our core CMDB platform and create the business case for investment
• Drive product innovation by understanding customer pain points and translating them into actionable features
Team Development & Leadership • Lead and mentor 7+ senior engineers (Breeze, Vulnerability Scanning, TunHub, IDS, Patch Management, Identity Management, Log Management owners)
• Build a culture of product ownership and collaboration within the team
• Help individual contributors understand the “why” behind features and give them context for their work
• Create career development paths that respect engineers’ desire to remain technical while expanding their impact
• Scale the team thoughtfully as product complexity and customer demands grow
Cross-Team Collaboration • Build a strong, productive working relationship with our Budapest-based CMDB and backend team (40+ people)
• Act as the primary bridge between Ukrainian and Budapest teams, fostering professional collaboration

• Work with Budapest Technical Account Managers to understand customer needs and translate them into product requirements
• Partner with Budapest integration teams to ensure Ukrainian modules achieve parity or superiority compared to third-party integrations
Technical Product Management • Define robust API strategies that satisfy both Budapest’s integration requirements and Ukrainian team’s implementation preferences
• Oversee the technical quality and reliability of all security and DevOps modules
• Ensure products are built with enterprise-grade reliability, scalability, and supportability
• Make build-vs-buy decisions for new capabilities and integrations
Business Outcomes • Drive adoption and revenue growth of Cloudaware’s proprietary security and DevOps capabilities
• Work with sales and customer success to position modules effectively
• Track and improve key product metrics: adoption rates, customer satisfaction, integration quality, time-to-value What You Bring Required Experience • 8+ years in product management, with at least 3 years leading product teams in cloud management, cybersecurity, or DevOps domains
