Your mission Take full ownership of quality as a system, not a phase. You will transform QA from a supporting function into a company-wide quality engineering discipline, driving process maturity, security awareness, and automation-first culture.
What you will actually do: — Own and evolve QA strategy at the company level: define how quality is built, measured, and scaled across all projects
— Lead QA transformation initiatives: • move from manual-heavy QA to automation-first approach; • eliminate process chaos and introduce predictable, repeatable delivery models; • standardize QA practices across teamxs without killing flexibility.
— Embed security into QA processes (not as a checkbox): • define security testing standards; • integrate basic security checks into SDLC; • raise security awareness across engineering teams.
— Own non-functional quality: • performance & load testing strategy; • data integrity & database testing; • reliability for Live systems.
— Build a modern automation ecosystem: • define automation strategy across projects; • ensure frameworks are scalable, maintainable, and actually used; • drive high ROI automation (not “automation for the sake of automation”).
— Scale quality metrics that matter: • defect leakage; • automation efficiency; • team performance and delivery health.
— Build and lead a high-performance QA organization: • hire strong engineers, not “manual testers”; • grow people into T-shaped quality engineers; • mentor leads and shape future QA leaders.
— Partner with Engineering and DevOps to make quality a shared responsibility, not a QA bottleneck
What makes this role interesting: — You are not “leading QA team” — you are shaping how the company builds software; — You will work on processes that actually need fixing, not maintaining legacy bureaucracy; — High level of ownership and decision-making power; — Direct impact on engineering culture and delivery quality; — Strong focus on growth and learning (courses, conferences, certifications); — Flexible work format (remote / office); — Paid vacations (23 business days) and sick leaves; — Full transparency on company performance.
We expect you to bring: — Strong experience as Senior / Lead / Staff QA with real ownership of quality processes; — Proven track record of building or transforming QA practices (not just supporting them); — Deep expertise in: • test automation strategy and frameworks; • QA process design and scaling; • non-functional testing (performance, reliability, data). — Solid understanding of security fundamentals in QA; (you don’t need to be a pentester, but you know where QA adds value in security) — Experience working in multi-project / outsource environments is a big plus; — Ability to operate on both levels: • strategic (define direction); • hands-on (get into tools, frameworks, problems when needed). — Strong system thinking: you see QA as part of engineering ecosystem, not isolated function; — Good technical background: • APIs, web, mobile; • logs, debugging, observability tools; • CI/CD understanding. — English: Upper-Intermediate or higher.
Awesome if you have: — Experience implementing OWASP-based practices or security testing workflows; — Programming experience (Java / JS / Python) for building robust automation; — Experience with quality metrics systems and data-driven decision making.
