Today, SlotCatalog is actively growing and is looking for a CTO who is eager to develop professionally and ready to join the team in achieving ambitious goals.
We’re hiring a CTO to join us at a pivotal stage. Since inception, the technical side of the business has been led by the founder, who remains actively involved. This role is expected to take over full ownership of the technology stack and build an independent, well-structured tech function. This will be a collaborative transition, done with the founder’s full support, who is transitioning into a product role.
Responsibilities: * Own and evolve SlotCatalog’s tech architecture * Write and review high-quality, scalable code * Lead and grow a lean development team of approx 10 and growing. * Translate business needs (SEO, traffic, monetization, advertising) into product and tech decisions * Build internal and external-facing tools — dashboards, targeting systems, tracking, reporting * Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and commercial functions * Build infrastructure and processes that scale with high-volume data and traffic * Contribute to strategic planning by aligning tech development with business objectives
Requirements: * 10+ years of professional experience in software development * Strong backend expertise: PHP/Laravel/Symfony, SQL/NoSQL, Cloud Services AWS * Familiar with modern frontend frameworks * Deep understanding of SEO-driven platforms, media tech, or affiliate businesses * Knowledge of digital advertising infrastructure (tags, pixels, attribution, campaign tracking) * Strong grasp of monetization models (CPM, CPC, CPA, RevShare) * Experience with data automation, scraping, BI pipelines * Solid understanding of UI/UX principles * Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English * Strong leadership and mentoring capability; able to build and retain a technical team * Clear, pragmatic, business-oriented mindset
Bonus Points: * Experience in iGaming, slot games, or online entertainment * Familiarity with AI/ML applications or experimentation * Prior experience scaling web platforms to millions of monthly users * Working knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud security
