Dataforest is looking for Head of Delivery / Head of Operations This role carries full accountability for strategy execution, operational efficiency, team leadership, and business development across existing Dataforest projects.
Responsibilities: * Define and drive delivery strategy on each project, aligning execution with business goals, client expectations, and long-term scalability; * Lead and continuously improve delivery processes across multiple teams to increase predictability, speed, and quality of execution; * Build and maintain strong client partnerships, ensuring transparency, trust, and clear expectations around timelines, scope, and delivery commitments; * Take full ownership of delivery performance metrics (timelines, budget, quality, profitability), with a strong focus on delivery predictability and operational excellence; * Support teams in planning, risk management, issue resolution, and change management to keep projects on track; * Coordinate up-sales and scope definition, ensuring realistic commitments, accurate estimations, and sustainable delivery models; * Identify and allocate the right delivery resources (Tech Leads, designers, QA, PMs) in collaboration with internal teams to support timely execution; * Monitor and manage key financial indicators (gross margin, earned value), ensuring delivery efficiency and profitability; * Take full responsibility for budgets, operational efficiency, and financial performance. * Act as a strategic partner to C-lvl and department heads in scaling delivery operations and introducing process improvements.
Must have: * 5+ years in Product Management, Operations, or Leadership roles. * SWE background. * Deep understanding of operational management principles and customer service. * Experience building processes (PM and Delivery) in complex product organizations. * Experience at outsource companies. * Strong analytical and systems thinking; data-driven decision-making. * Proven experience in process optimization and cost reduction. * Ability to work effectively in a multitasking and high-pressure environment. * Proactivity, responsibility, and a results-oriented mindset.
