⏰ Start: ASAP About the Project Our client is a US-based SaaS company building a secure and scalable data infrastructure for digital commerce.
The company is consolidating several external DevOps vendors into one senior in-house/outstaff role with full ownership of infrastructure, security, and compliance.
The project operates in a multi-cloud environment (AWS + GCP) with a modern data stack and a strong focus on observability, CI/CD governance, and SOC 2 compliance automation.
You will collaborate directly with the CTO and the US engineering team (3–4 hours overlap with US East Coast). ✅ Technical Stack & Experience * Cloud: AWS (EKS, EC2, IAM, S3), GCP (GKE, Cloud Functions, BigQuery) * IaC: Terraform * CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Codecov, SonarQube * Observability: Sumo Logic, OpenTelemetry * Security: IAM, MFA, 1Password CLI, TruffleHog, GitGuardian * Data stack: Kafka, Airbyte, dbt, Neo4j * Experience: 5+ years in DevOps / SRE / Cloud Infrastructure roles
Ideal Candidate * Senior DevOps Engineer with strong multi-cloud experience (AWS + GCP) * Hands-on expertise with Terraform and IaC security best practices * Experience building and operating observability systems (logs, metrics, traces) * Strong background in CI/CD governance and quality gates * Practical experience with SOC 2 or ISO 27001 frameworks * Ownership mindset and ability to manage systems end-to-end * Confident English communication skills
Responsibilities * Build and maintain multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS + GCP) * Develop and maintain Terraform-based IaC, including drift control * Migrate and optimize workloads (Kafka, Airbyte, dbt, Neo4j) * Implement centralized logging and tracing (Sumo Logic + OpenTelemetry) * Configure Slack alerts for dev / staging / prod environments * Own and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines * Integrate tests, coverage checks, and secrets scanning * Manage IAM, MFA, and secrets across platforms * Automate SOC 2 evidence collection and support audits
