Our product works with real business data, real customers, and real legal challenges — so we’re looking for a hands-on Legal Counsel who enjoys practical work and ownership.
About the Role
We’re opening a part-time Legal Counsel position to support our commercial, privacy, and compliance needs.
You’ll work closely with the business, Information Security, and Privacy teams, and will take ownership of a significant part of our legal operational workload — especially contracts and data protection matters.
This role is remote-friendly and designed for part-time collaboration (~4 hours per day).
Your Responsibilities
* Draft and review SaaS agreements, services agreements, license agreements, reseller and referral agreements, NDAs, and Terms of Use
* Participate in filling out clients’ data processing and data security questionnaires
* Negotiate commercial terms with customers, suppliers, and partners across the USA, Europe, and other regions
* Monitor and analyze US and EU legislation and regulatory requirements applicable to the company
* Draft and review data processing agreements (DPAs), privacy policies, and related documentation
* Work closely with the Information Security and Privacy team, providing legal advice on data protection and privacy matters
* Manage and control the use of the company’s intellectual property assets, including the company name, trade name, trademarks, and logo
* Conduct legal research and provide advice on legal issues related to the company’s business activities, including employment-related matters
* Review supplier agreements, manage vendor onboarding and offboarding
* Conduct compliance checks of services against applicable legal and regulatory requirements
What We’re Looking For
* Law degree
* 3+ years of professional legal experience, preferably in the IT / SaaS / product environment
* Strong experience with commercial IT contracts (SaaS, services, license, reseller/referral agreements)
* Good understanding of data protection and privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA)
* Experience working with international clients, especially within the US and EU markets
* Advanced English (written and spoken)
* Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate clearly with non-legal stakeholders
