We’re looking for an experienced Data Engineer (Python ETL Engineer) to join our team and lead the migration of data integration pipelines from Mulesoft and Informatica to Python-based solutions for a fintech company working with payment solutions. Key Responsibilities * Lead the design and implementation of ETL pipelines using Python to replace existing Mulesoft and Informatica solutions * Architect robust, scalable, and secure data integration frameworks * Implement ETL orchestration and monitoring systems to ensure data pipeline reliability * Optimize data processing workflows for performance and efficiency * Collaborate with DevOps, data teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions
Required Skills * 5+ years of Python programming experience * Strong ETL development experience (data extraction, transformation, loading) * ETL orchestration and monitoring expertise * Experience designing and implementing data pipelines at scale Proficiency with databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB Strong understanding of data integration patterns and best practices
Nice-to-Have Skills * Apache Airflow or similar orchestration tools (Luigi, Prefect, Dagster) * Experience with Mulesoft * Experience with Informatica products * Familiarity with AI development tools (Claude Code, Gemini CLI) * Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms * Knowledge of cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) * Leadership experience
