We’re looking for an SDET to drive an automation-first, AI-powered QA strategy for a live Unity mobile game. This role focuses on building scalable automation, reducing manual regression, and leveraging AI to improve quality, speed, and coverage.
Remote, full-time
Working Schedule: 10.30-19.00 Kyiv time
Responsibilities: * Design, build, and maintain an automation framework for a Unity mobile game * Drive automation across the test pyramid (unit, integration, E2E) * Replace manual regression with reliable automated testing * Integrate automated tests into CI/CD and release pipelines * Define and track QA metrics (coverage, flakiness, regression time) * Lead defect triage and ensure high release quality * Collaborate with Product and Engineering to prevent issues early * Actively use AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) in daily QA workflows * Apply AI for test generation, coverage analysis, and defect investigation * Build reusable AI-driven QA processes and frameworks * Evaluate and adopt new AI tools to improve team efficiency
Requirements: * 5+ years in SDET / QA Automation * Strong experience building automation frameworks (Python + Pytest or similar) * Hands-on CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, etc.) * Strong debugging and problem-solving skills * Proven hands-on experience using AI tools in QA or engineering workflows
Would be a plus: * Experience with mobile or Unity-based applications * Experience with AltTester or similar tools * Mobile testing (iOS / Android, device farms, emulators) * Familiarity with JIRA / TestRail * Experience in gaming or live-service environments * Experience working with LLM APIs or prompt engineering
