We are now entering a scaling phase and looking for a Senior Business Development Manager who will help us grow internationally.
Role Mission
The mission of the Senior Business Development Manager is to build a predictable sales pipeline and close new partnerships with SaaS companies in the US and Europe.
The BDM will work closely with company founders and lead the commercial side of the sales process.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
• Identify and research target SaaS companies in US and EU markets • Build and manage a structured target list of potential clients • Generate outbound opportunities independently through LinkedIn, email and networking • Conduct discovery calls with potential clients • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline
Conference Sales
• Identify relevant international tech conferences and events • Prepare conference participation strategy together with founders • Pre-book meetings with target companies before conferences • Attend international conferences together with company founders • Lead sales conversations and present company services to prospects
Sales Process & Deal Closing
• Lead client discovery and qualification process • Identify client needs and propose cooperation models • Present company services (outsourcing, outstaff, dedicated teams) • Prepare proposals and coordinate with delivery team • Negotiate contracts and close deals with new clients
Pipeline Management
• Maintain CRM and track all sales activities • Manage follow-ups and nurture prospects • Develop long-term relationships with clients
Cooperation Model with Founders
The Senior BDM leads the commercial side of the sales process.
Typical sales flow:
BDM → lead generation and outreach BDM → discovery calls and opportunity qualification Founder → technical expertise and delivery credibility BDM → negotiation and deal closing
Founders participate in key meetings to demonstrate technical expertise and delivery capabilities.
Required Experience
• 5+ years of experience in Business Development or Sales • Experience selling IT outsourcing / software development services • Proven track record of selling services to US or EU clients • Experience building sales pipeline through outbound activities
Mandatory Sales Track Record
Candidates must demonstrate proven experience in closing service contracts.
Required:
• Successfully closed multiple deals valued $50,000+ • Experience negotiating and signing long-term service agreements • Experience managing complex B2B sales cycles • Ability to build and manage pipeline independently
Key Skills
• Strong outbound sales and pipeline building skills • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities • Experience working with SaaS founders and CTOs • Ability to build long-term client relationships • Fluent English
Conference Experience (Important)
• Experience attending and selling at international tech conferences • Ability to schedule meetings with prospects before events • Comfortable representing the company together with founders
Key KPIs (First 6 — 9 Months)
20–30 discovery calls $300k+ pipeline within first 4 months $700k—$1M pipeline within 6–9 months first closed deals within first year
