We are considering candidates who are located in Ukraine!
You will join the Advanced Analytics team of a leading multinational energy company, working in close partnership with a Product Owner. The mission is to extract, interrogate and interpret structured procurement and transactional data across multiple source systems — surfacing patterns, anomalies and insights that drive business decisions.
What You Will Do * Write and maintain Python and SQL scripts to extract and prepare transactional datasets from multiple source systems within an AWS environment * Collaborate with the Product Owner to define analytical scenarios, translating business questions into structured analytical approaches * Apply statistical methods to identify patterns, anomalies, trends and policy constraint violations across procurement datasets * Research market benchmarks and external reference points to validate internal findings and assess whether observed trends are expected or significant * Communicate conclusions clearly to non-technical stakeholders — translating statistical outputs into business-readable insights and recommendations
What You Must Have * Procurement or financial transactional data experience — you instinctively understand what normal looks like, what anomalies look like and what questions are worth asking. * Strong SQL and Python — hands-on, production-quality scripting for data extraction, transformation and analysis * Statistical analysis skills — pattern recognition, trend analysis and constraint validation applied to real business datasets * AWS familiarity — comfortable working with S3 and relational schemas in a cloud environment * Autonomous working style — you structure loosely defined scenarios into analytical approaches independently, without waiting for detailed specifications * Clear communication — you translate statistical findings into plain business language for non-technical stakeholders and product team
What Will Set You Apart * Background in supply chain, procurement operations or financial controls * Experience benchmarking internal data against external market norms * Familiarity with enterprise procurement or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Ariba or similar) as data sources * English — Upper-intermediate
What will you love about working here: * We care about all our employees and want them to feel as comfortable as possible. * That is why we offer them health insurance from the first days regardless of the probationary period. * The gift from the company is Christmas holidays from 25 December to 31 December. * Cooperation with Superhumans center and Veteran HUB. Capgemini Engineering has supported the launch of the psychological rehabilitation department of Superhumans. Our team also donated over UAH 500000 for prosthetics for three Ukrainian defenders. Currently we support psychological counseling provided by the Veteran Hub and we have implemented an internal policy making the company friendly to military and veterans with the assistance of the Hub.
