About the role:
We are looking for a Lead Business Analyst who will combine strategic leadership of the BA practice with active participation in project work (up to 50-75% of the time). You will manage a team, build and scale processes and standards, and lead Discovery and Pre-Sale for complex projects in domains such as eCommerce, Fintech, Logistics, PropTech, Enterprise SaaS, and more.
Your future responsibilities:
* Lead and develop a team of 9+ BA/SA/IA specialists (Junior—Senior levels), including 1:1s, mentoring, and artifact reviews.
* Build and scale the BA practice — define methodologies, processes, tools, and quality KPIs.
* Develop and implement documentation standards, templates, and internal BA guidelines across the company.
* Run internal training sessions, onboard new team members, and facilitate BA practice retrospectives.
* Drive a unified approach to requirements management across all company projects.
* Actively contribute to the adoption of AI-powered tools in BA workflows (e.g., GPT, Copilot, Claude, Cursor).
* Lead Discovery phases for complex and strategic projects — from initial brief to defined scope.
* Facilitate client workshops, gather requirements, and shape project vision and structure.
* Participate in Pre-Sale activities — estimations, clarifications, WBS creation, and solution shaping.
* Manage requirements for complex projects with multiple development streams and diverse stakeholder groups.
* Build strong relationships with clients at the Product Owner and C-level.
* Act as the voice of the BA team at the leadership level within Devlight.
* Facilitate complex business and technical discussions between stakeholders and delivery teams.
Your professional qualities:
* At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 1 year in a leadership or mentoring role.
* Proven experience in building BA processes, standards, templates, and guidelines from scratch.
* Strong expertise in BA methodologies: requirements management, user stories, use cases, BPMN/UML, functional specifications.
* Hands-on experience leading Discovery phases and Pre-Sale activities — from initial brief to signed SoW.
Experience working in outsourcing or product companies across multiple domains.
* Experience using and внедрення AI tools in BA workflows (e.g., GPT, Copilot, Claude, Cursor).
* Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work with complex, cross-functional environments.
* Ownership mindset, strong communication skills, and ability to operate both strategically and hands-on.
* Upper-Intermediate (B2+) English level — both written and spoken.
Nice to have:
* Strong practical experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
* Experience across 4+ domains such as eCommerce, Fintech, Logistics, PropTech, HealthTech, and Enterprise SaaS.
* Experience working with complex stakeholder maps and resolving conflicting requirements
