About the role We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the development of new digital products and major feature expansions across our learning and testing ecosystem. You will own product discovery, definition, execution, and iteration, working closely with engineering, design, and content stakeholders to deliver measurable growth in usage and revenue.
This role is ideal for someone who can turn ambiguous opportunities into clear product strategies, ship quickly, and improve products through data, experimentation, and user feedback. About GMAT Club GMAT Club (gmatclub.com) is an MBA admissions and GMAT preparation platform founded in 2002, built around one of the largest MBA student communities on the web, with over 1.6 Million members and 100 Million annual page views. GMAT Club works closely with applicants providing them with test preparation tools as well as all top Business School programs including Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, MIT, Yale, and many others. What you will own * Identify and validate new product opportunities aligned with our platform (tests, quiz, analytics, and adjacent offerings) * Define product vision, positioning, and success metrics for new initiatives * Lead discovery: user research, competitive analysis, problem definition, and solution exploration * Write clear PRDs, user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria * Partner with engineering to scope, prioritize, and execute roadmaps across releases * Launch new products and features with strong go-to-market planning (pricing, packaging, onboarding, and messaging in collaboration with marketing and ops) * Improve activation, engagement, retention, and monetization via iteration and experimentation * Establish a feedback loop using analytics, surveys, session insights, and community signals * Maintain strong product quality, usability, and performance standards
Key responsibilities (day to day) * Run sprint planning and backlog grooming with the engineering team * Translate business goals into product bets and measurable experiments * Monitor funnels and cohorts, diagnose drop-offs, and drive improvements * Coordinate cross-functional execution for launches and improvements * Communicate progress, trade-offs, and decisions to stakeholders
What we are looking for * 3+ years of product management experience (consumer, education, marketplace, or subscription products preferred) * Strong English skills (Upper-Intermediate level or higher) * Proven experience shipping products end-to-end, from discovery to launch to iteration * Strong analytical skills: ability to define metrics, read dashboards, and make decisions using data * Excellent written communication: PRDs, specs, and concise stakeholder updates * Ability to prioritize ruthlessly and operate in a fast-moving environment * Solid understanding of UX principles and ability to collaborate closely with design * Comfortable working with engineering on scope, trade-offs, and delivery * Experience with A/B testing and experimentation is a plus * Familiarity with test prep, learning products, question banks, or analytics is a plus
Tools and working style (nice to have) * Product analytics: GA4, Posthog * Experimentation frameworks and feature flag tools * AI UX/UI Tools * Experience with subscription pricing, packaging, and paywalls is a plus
What success looks like (first 3 to 6 months) * Shipped at least one meaningful new product or major feature expansion * Built a validated pipeline of new product opportunities with clear business cases * Improved key funnel metrics (activation or conversion) through targeted iterations * Established a clear roadmap with measurable goals and reliable execution cadence
