They’re 35 people, profitable, and fast enough to stay sharp, stable enough to do it right. The founders are hands-on, the bar is high, and quality isn’t negotiable, but burnout isn’t a badge of honor either.
About the Role
Growth so far has been entirely inbound: a strong network, warm referrals, LinkedIn, conferences, and integration partnerships. It’s worked well. Now it’s time to build the engine that makes it repeatable.
This is the first dedicated marketing hire. No inherited mess, no committee approvals, just real ownership from day one.
You’ll work directly with two co-founders, as well as collaborate closely with a Director of Sales and a newly hired Commercial Director. A product designer and external contractors are already in place, and over time you’ll have the opportunity to build your own team. This role has a clear path to Head of Marketing as the function scales. It might not suit for someonr who already has a Head of Marketing/CMO title and scope

What You’ll Own * LinkedIn content for the company and founders: posts built around real client stories and founder ideas, growing into deeper materials pitched to industry publications * Sales enablement materials: battle cards, case studies, whitepapers, comparison tables, one-pagers, demo videos, sales decks * Event ownership: conferences, hosted dinners, webinars from logistics to pre/post sequences * Partnership co-marketing with integration partners across the alternatives ecosystem * Website development and ongoing updates * SEO and LLM discoverability — hands-on where it counts, managing contractors where it scales * Client storytelling pipeline: case studies, video testimonials, referral program * Briefing and managing designers and external contractors * HubSpot attribution, lead tracking, reporting at an operational level
What We’re Looking For * 4–7 years in B2B SaaS marketing, hands-on, * You’ve actually built marketing from scratch, not just joined a team with an existing playbook and resources * You write yourself. LinkedIn posts, case studies, battle cards, thought leadership — not just briefs for someone else to write * You’ve run outbound campaigns hands-on. Not just managed someone who did * HubSpot is second nature to you and you’re comfortable with modern AI marketing tools * Sharp eye for design. You know what works and can brief or push back on a designer with confidence * You think in campaigns, not just tactics — from concept to launch * You spot the gap and fill it without waiting to be told * Comfortable sitting at the intersection of product and sales: close enough to the product to tell the story accurately, close enough to sales to make it convert * Based in Europe * Experience in fintech, financial services, or alternatives is a strong plus, but learning velocity matters more than a perfect background
