We integrate advanced automation, AI, and robotics to develop security and defense solutions. Our focus is on intelligent systems that combine embedded software, computer vision, and edge-AI for autonomous platforms.
We are looking for Simulation & System Integration Engineer to own the design, development, and maintenance of our simulation environments and containerised infrastructure. You will build upon our existing system, hardening it with secure, reproducible Docker images and seamlessly integrating simulation pipelines with our broader software stack. This is a hands-on engineering role where your work directly shapes product quality and release velocity.
What you’ll do: * Design, build, and maintain simulation environments using tools such as ROS 2, Gazebo, and custom virtual worlds. * Create, optimise, and manage Docker images — ensuring they are secure, reproducible, and lean. * Integrate simulation pipelines with core product services via well-defined APIs and message-passing interfaces. * Extend and harden the existing simulation and containerisation infrastructure rather than starting from scratch. * Define and enforce security best practices for container images, registry access, and runtime environments. * Collaborate with software, hardware, and QA teams to keep simulation fidelity in sync with real-world system behaviour. * Write clear documentation, runbooks, and integration guides for simulation assets and container workflows. * Participate in code reviews, incident post-mortems, and architectural discussions.
Technical skills
Must have: * 1–2 years of hands-on experience in simulation engineering, robotics software, or a closely related field. * Solid experience with ROS / ROS 2 and at least one simulation framework (Gazebo, Isaac Sim, Webots, or equivalent). * Proficiency with Docker — including multi-stage builds, image hardening, and container registry management. * Experience designing and consuming REST or message-bus APIs (ROS topics/services, gRPC, or similar) for system integration. * Working knowledge of Linux systems administration and shell scripting (Bash / Python). * Familiarity with container security principles: image scanning, least-privilege runtimes, secrets management. * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving environment.
Nice to have: * Experience with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, or similar). * Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing in simulation contexts (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions). * Knowledge of hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing methodologies. * Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for cloud-based simulation workloads. * Background in robotics, autonomous systems, aerospace, or defence domains.
What we offer: * Impact: Ownership over mission-critical autonomous/robotics systems. * Autonomy: Full technical freedom — choose tools, architect solutions, drive decisions. Minimal bureaucracy. * Unique Domain: Rare expertise that strengthens your aerospace/defense resume. * Growth: Regular salary reviews with performance-based increases. * Remote Work: 100% remote, flexible schedule, core sync hours. * Learning: Professional courses and certifications aligned with your role. * Team: Work alongside experienced engineers tackling cutting-edge challenges in edge-AI, computer vision, and real-time robotics. * Mission: Direct contribution to Ukraine’s defense capabilities and European security resilience.
If this resonates with you, don’t wait — reach out today! We’re looking forward to meeting you:)
