We are looking for a LLM / Generative-AI Backend Engineer for our talented team and contribute to the success of our products.
Position Overview: You will be a part of a motivated team responsible for implementing cutting-edge AI functionality and backend services. This role combines deep backend expertise with modern AI/ML capabilities to build scalable, intelligent solutions for our financial technology platforms. You will work on both internal AI-driven pipelines and process optimizations to enhance operational efficiency, as well as develop client-facing features that deliver intelligent capabilities directly to our clients.
Key requirements:
● 4+ years of commercial development with Node.JS and TypeScript
● Hands-on experience with LLMs and APIs such as Amazon Bedrock, OpenAI, or open-source models
● Databases (must have experience with PostgreSQL)
● Understanding of LLM architectures (transformers, attention mechanisms, tokenization) and AI fundamentals
● Experience with Docker, containerization, and microservices architecture
● Strong problem-solving skills and an aptitude for identifying automation opportunities within tech environments
● Strong communication and collaboration skills
● Ownership mindset, quality-driven development
● English level: Upper Intermediate (oral and written communication with colleagues from other offices).
Would be a plus:
● Knowledge of prompt engineering and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
● Python experience
● Experience with model training, fine-tuning, and custom model development. Understanding evaluation metrics
● Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native AI services
● Familiarity with LangChain AI framework
● Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and containerization (Kubernetes).
Key responsibilities:
● Design, build and maintain AI-powered backend services using Node.js and relevant technologies
● Integrate AI/ML models and work with APIs such as Amazon Bedrock, OpenAI, and other LLMs
● Build AI-driven agents and intelligent workflows to enhance platform efficiency
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AI, Frontend, DevOps) to deliver end-to-end solutions
● Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices and design patterns
● Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning, AI technologies, and backend development
● Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and architectural decisions.
