Ciklum is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role: As a Senior Security Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. Together, we will work on the project for a global leader in the leisure, travel and tourism sector, delivering secure and scalable technology that enables a high-quality end-to-end customer experience. The Senior Security Engineer is a practitioner and an advocate of state-of-the-art cloud engineering practices, with a strong DevSecOps mindset, able to tackle the whole software development cycle of designing, building, testing and deploying applications.
Responsibilities: * Own and operate the edge security and content delivery platform from design to build to run * Manage CDN and WAF services across multiple domains * Improve performance, security, and automation of the platform * Ensure strong observability, monitoring, and documentation * Enable development teams by providing secure and scalable platform capabilities * Support teams in adopting platform tools through direct collaboration * Continuously enhance CI/CD pipelines and automation practices * Research and test new technologies, tools, and approaches * Promote engineering best practices, ownership, and technical excellence
Requirements: * Strong experience with CDN and WAF platforms such as Akamai, Cloudflare, or AWS * Deep understanding of web protocols, HTTP lifecycle, DNS, certificates, and caching * Hands-on experience building secure and scalable systems in AWS including CloudFront, Lambda, EKS, S3, and API Gateway * Experience securing REST or GraphQL APIs * Proficiency with CI/CD using GitLab and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK * Automation and scripting skills using Python * Experience with monitoring and incident analysis using tools such as Datadog or Grafana
Desirable: * Front-end fundamentals * Experience with LLM-based automation * Familiarity with security standards such as OWASP, ISO 27001, or NIST
