We are looking for a Senior QA Manual Engineer who has a deep understanding of software development logic. You will focus on our AI initiatives (80%) while staying closely aligned with Core product features (20%). The ideal candidate isn’t just a “clicker” but a technical specialist who can investigate API responses, understand system architecture, and act as a bridge between the AI and Core teams.
Responsibilities: * Feature Ownership: Designing and executing test plans for new AI features and their integration into the Core system. * The Bridge Role: Maintaining a deep understanding of Core functionality to ensure that new AI updates don’t break existing features. * Bug Investigation: Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects with a focus on finding the “root cause” rather than just reporting symptoms. * Collaboration: Working closely with development team, QA team, Customer Success team to ensure seamless product alignment. * Support Sync: Working with the Customer Success team to reproduce and validate complex customer-reported issues.
Qualifications: * Technical Literacy: Solid understanding of development principles and basic code structure (JavaScript/TypeScript). You should be able to distinguish between frontend and backend issues and speak the same language as developers. * API Testing Mastery: Expert in working with API requests (Postman, DevTools). You know how to build, validate, and troubleshoot complex request/response flows. * AI/LLM Interest: While previous AI testing is a plus, you must have a strong interest in testing non-deterministic systems. * Testing Expertise: Strong understanding of QA methodologies, edge-case identification, and regression testing in agile environments. * CRM/Integration Experience: Highly welcome, as our AI features are deeply integrated with complex core workflows. * Documentation: Ability to create clear, structured test cases and bug reports that developers actually like to read. * Tooling: Experience with Git (to track changes), Jira/Linear/Asana, and database querying (SQL/NoSQL) is a significant plus. * Upper-Intermediate level of English
