Role Overview
The Senior BI Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing business intelligence solutions, including datasets, reports, and dashboards. This role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders, customer-facing teams, and technical systems, ensuring accurate data representation, high-quality reporting deliverables, and secure handling of client data. The Senior BI Specialist takes ownership of complex reporting workflows, supports ERP-based analytics, and ensures reliable deployment across testing and production environments.

Role Responsibilities
* Develop, maintain, and enhance BI reports, dashboards, and datasets.
* Write and optimize complex SQL queries directly against client testing and live databases while ensuring strict data security and confidentiality.
* Design and maintain reports using Crystal Reports and related BI tools.
* Manage personal workload and assigned client tickets, including handling feedback and change requests from client platforms.
* Analyze ERP workflows to create accurate reporting solutions related to sales, purchasing, inventory, profitability, and payment processes.
* Deploy reporting changes to testing and production environments with high attention to stability and data integrity.
* Collaborate with implementation, customer care, and support teams to gather requirements, estimate custom report efforts, troubleshoot production issues, and resolve data inconsistencies.
* Investigate and resolve bugs, reporting errors, and data mismatches in customer environments.
* Follow best practices in version control and development workflows using GitHub and IDE tools such as Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, or GitHub Desktop.
* Ensure reporting solutions follow data visualization best practices and are aligned with business needs.
* Provide training and support to internal teams and end users on report usage and interpretation.
Role Requirements
* Strong SQL Server and relational database expertise.
* Advanced experience with Crystal Reports and BI reporting tools.
* Solid understanding of ERP systems and business process flows (sales, purchasing, inventory, profitability, payments).
* High proficiency in SQL querying, performance optimization, and data analysis.
* Experience working with IDEs such as Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, or GitHub Desktop.
* Hands-on experience with Git and version control workflows.
* Ability to independently manage tasks, priorities, and tickets.
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Strong awareness of data security practices and compliance when working with client production environments.
* Strong communication skills: English B2+
Daily schedule
Our company supports work-life balance and allows you to tailor your schedule, which consists of 8 working hours and time for lunch. Shared business hours for most of our teams are 12 pm — 7 pm Kyiv time.
