Riseapps is a technology company that designs and builds AI-powered software products for the U.S. healthcare industry.
We partner with healthcare providers, startups, and digital health organizations to create scalable, compliant, and data-driven solutions that make care delivery more efficient and accessible.
We already have a proven track record — successful projects, long-term clients, and a team of healthcare and AI experts.
Now we are looking for a professional Project Manager.
What you’ll be doing:
— 5+ years of practical experience in a B2B software company (IT service company) as a Project manager; — Managing 3–5 projects simultaneously across different stages from discovery and kickoff to delivery and post-launch support; — Owning the full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure; — Onboarding new projects quickly: diving into client context, team dynamics, and product specifics with minimal ramp-up time; — Building and maintaining strong relationships with the U.S.-based healthcare clients, understanding their business goals, not just task lists; — Proactively identifying and managing risks, dependencies, and scope changes across multiple workstreams; — Coordinating cross-functional teams (development, QA, design, BA) to ensure smooth delivery and alignment; — Participating in pre-sales activities: scoping, estimation, proposal preparation, and client discovery calls; — Reporting project health, progress, and risks to stakeholders in a clear and structured way; — Participating in team hiring: collaborating with HR on role scoping, conducting technical interviews for PM and related roles, and contributing to building a strong delivery team; — Tracking and owning key business metrics across your projects, including Gross Profit Margin (GPM) and Client Satisfaction (CSAT), and taking proactive steps when numbers fall below targets; — Applying a structured, systematic approach to project management: maintaining clear documentation, standardized workflows, and scalable processes that work across multiple concurrent projects without relying on memory or improvisation.
You are a great fit if you have:
— Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously without dropping the ball; — Strong understanding of Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall, and the judgment to know when to apply which; — Experience working with U.S. clients or in international product environments; — Understanding of how healthcare organizations operate, key compliance requirements (HIPAA), and digital health trends; — Strong risk management and change management skills; — Experience in release planning, scope management, and quality oversight; — Exceptional client communication; — Systems thinking, you see the big picture while staying on top of the details; — Work artifacts you’re proud of: project plans, risk registers, status reports, or client-facing materials you can walk us through during the interview; — Upper-Intermediate+ English (written and spoken).
Nice to have:
— Pre-sales and discovery experience; — Experience with EHR/EMR integrations or health data platforms; — PMI, PMP, or similar certification.
