Our client is a business management SaaS platform for photographers, designed to simplify and automate day-to-day operations such as client communication, bookings, invoicing, and accounting. The product is primarily used by photographers in Australia, the USA, and the UK and is known for its strong UX focus and ease of use. The platform includes a responsive web application, a client portal, and a mobile application with limited functionality. It is a long-term product under continuous development, with frequent feature updates and a dedicated cross-functional team consisting of frontend, backend, QA, BA, and UX specialists. As a Junior QA Engineer, you will join the QA team and work on a real production SaaS product. You will be responsible for manual testing of new features, performing regression testing, and supporting the overall quality of the platform while learning professional QA processes and tools. This role is ideal for candidates who are starting their QA career and want hands-on experience with a complex, business-critical system.
Requirements: * Basic understanding of software testing principles. * Knowledge of manual testing techniques (functional, regression, smoke). * Understanding of SDLC and QA role in development process. * Ability to write clear bug reports and test cases. * Basic knowledge of web applications (browser behavior, forms, APIs basics). * Attention to detail and analytical thinking. * English level: Upper-Intermediate.
Nice to have: * Experience testing web‑based SaaS applications. * Basic understanding of REST APIs. * Familiarity with test management or bug‑tracking tools. * Knowledge of SQL basics.
Responsibilities: * Perform manual functional testing of web and mobile applications. * Execute test cases based on requirements and acceptance criteria. * Participate in regression testing before releases Identify, document, and track bugs and issues. * Verify bug fixes and feature implementations. * Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product stakeholders. * Support testing of integrations (payments, accounting systems, client portals). * Learn and follow the project test strategy and QA processes.
