We are looking for a Junior Java Engineer to join our team and help us build a high-quality, data-driven fintech product that makes a real impact.
Requirements: * 1+ year of commercial experience with Java; * Strong knowledge of Core Java (collections, streams, OOP principles, exceptions, multithreading basics); * Understanding of Spring Framework / Spring Boot; * Experience with REST API development; * Basic knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar) * Familiarity with JPA/Hibernate; * Understanding of SQL fundamentals; * Experience with Git; * Basic understanding of build tools (Maven or Gradle); * Knowledge of unit testing (JUnit, Mockito); * Understanding of HTTP protocol; * English — Upper-Intermediate or higher.
Responsibilities: * Development and support of backend services using Java and Spring Boot; * Implementation of business logic and database interactions; * Integration with third-party APIs and internal microservices; * Writing unit and integration tests; * Working with transactional data and ensuring data consistency; * Supporting production issues and troubleshooting.
