We’re looking for an Automation QA Engineer to join our professional team! Start: ASAP
Your responsibilities will include: * Designing, writing, reviewing, and maintaining automated tests (UI, API, integration). * Contributing production-level automation code on a regular basis. * Rapidly expanding automated test coverage. * Establishing and maintaining a strong regression suite aligned to an evolving traceability matrix. * Owning automation strategy, coverage targets, test pyramid, and quality gates tied to product priorities. * Partnering closely with the SDET to evolve and scale the existing Java-based test platform. * Driving the traceability matrix. * Preparing and presenting clear test reports, documenting coverage, results, and identified defects. * Collaborating early with engineering teams, participating in refinement sessions, influencing requirements, and defining test strategies.
What we expect from you: * 7+ years of experience in testing (with at least 4 years in UI testing and 2 years in API testing). * Strong Java skills for test automation development. * Strong SQL skills for data validation and test setup. * Basic Spring framework knowledge for understanding application architecture. * Hands-on experience with test frameworks. * UI testing experience with Playwright (or similar). * API testing experience with JUnit 5, Cucumber or similar (Gherkin). * Experience with WebProxy tools (e.g., mitmproxy, Wireshark) for traffic analysis and debugging. * Experience with test reporting tools (Allure or similar). * Experience with Docker and Docker Compose for containerized test environments. * Experience with build tools such as Gradle or Maven. * Good understanding of HTTP protocols and browser developer tools for debugging and analysis. * Practical experience using AI tools to speed up test case creation, automation development, and test data generation. * Basic Bash scripting skills.
Would be a plus: * Experience with Python (pytest) for additional testing capabilities. * Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and optimizing test execution. * Experience with contract testing (Pact) and API schema validation. * Experience in email automation, CRM systems, marketing automation tools, or sales tech products.
