About project
Walking is a fitness app that helps users lose weight and get fit through the simplest activity — walking. The app offers personalized walking plans, step tracking, and progress insights to keep users motivated and consistent. By turning walking into a workout, Walking makes it easy to burn calories, improve endurance, and stay active without complicated workout routines.
Responsibilities: * Work closely with growth and product teams to understand user needs and pain points, improving user experience and conversion across landing pages and mobile products (iOS and Android). * Test, iterate, and improve the design of websites, emails, and mobile application interfaces. * Design and maintain product experiences for iOS and Android in alignment with platform guidelines and best practices. * Establish and evolve design guidelines, design systems, standards, and best practices across web and mobile platforms. * Maintain visual and UX consistency by enforcing content, UI, and interaction standards. * Communicate design ideas and solutions using user flows, process flows, site maps, wireframes, and interactive prototypes. * Design high-fidelity screens, sample pages, and UI components including layouts, typography, color systems, and iconography. * Design responsive and mobile-first web experiences, including mobile versions of websites. * Collaborate closely with developers to ensure high-quality implementation of designs in production. * Support product discovery and validation through usability testing and design iteration.
Requirements: * 1+ experience in Web design * Experience designing and delivering designs for development * Proficiency with Figma for UI design * Proficiency with Figma Prototype * UX experience * Animation / Motion Graphics skills After Affects (Lottie) * Good knowledge of mobile-first approach * Good knowledge of Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Google Material Design * Good taste and strong understanding of the latest web and mobile design trends * Solid mobile design fundamentals (layout, composition, typography, iconography, etc.) * Portfolio demonstrating web and mobile design skills * Links to designed websites * Links to designed apps live in the App Store and Google Play
Will be a plus: * Familiar with the architecture and constraints of native applications for all devices * UX Experience * Experience in mobile app design * Experience in testing product hypotheses * Experience in grow hacking metrics * English (Intermediate or higher)
