GTO LAB is a poker training SaaS that combines coaching videos, game theory solvers, and web-based training tools into a single platform.
Team: Part of the remote in-house team Management line: Reports to the product owner Work conditions: 5 days/week, remote, flexible working hours Type of engagement: PE contract Timezone: Must be available for team meetings during European mornings Tasks * Build and maintain high-quality frontend features using Next.js and TypeScript. * Implement Figma designs with a strong focus on visual polish, spacing, and consistency. * Ensure excellent responsiveness across screen sizes, from laptops to large and small displays. * Improve user flows and interaction patterns to make complex products feel simple and intuitive. * Refine existing UI to improve clarity, usability, and overall product feel. * Work across multiple frontend surfaces, including: * Core web application UI * Video replayers and media-related interfaces * Payments and subscription flows * WordPress-based landing pages * Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product owners. * Proactively identify UX, layout, and interaction issues and suggest improvements. * Take ownership of frontend work and deliver without the need for close supervision.
Must-Have Skills * 3+ years of professional frontend development experience. * Strong experience with Next.js and TypeScript. * Very good CSS skills and a strong eye for layout, spacing, and visual hierarchy. * Proven experience building responsive, well-polished user interfaces. * Ability to translate designs into clean, maintainable frontend code. * Comfortable working on existing products and improving them incrementally. * Self-directed, proactive, and able to execute independently.
As a Plus Skills * Experience improving UX in complex or content-rich products. * Experience with Tailwind CSS. * Familiarity with animation, transitions, or micro-interactions. * Experience working with media players, subscription flows, or marketing pages. * Some backend experience (Node.js or similar). * Interest in poker or poker-related products.
