The Fourth Law / TFL / Четвертий Закон is an autonomous robotics company focused on solving massively scalable autonomy for defensive FPV drones. The company has offices in the US, EU and Ukraine and is on a mission to increase the defensive capabilities of the Free World. Its name is a reference to Isaac Asimov’s three laws of robotics, and the search for an enigmatic Fourth Law.
Mission: Own the simulation and evaluation stack that helps us design, test, and iterate autonomy faster—with confidence before field validation. Responsibilities * Lead customer discovery with internal users (autonomy engineers, QA, field test team) and external partners to define what “good simulation” means for real deployment constraints. * Define product vision for simulation: scenario library, physics/world modeling, sensor modeling, tooling, and evaluation workflows. * Own the simulation roadmap across multiple tracks (e.g., scenario generation, reproducible testing, analytics, CI/regression). * Specify requirements for: * scenario authoring (tools + data formats), * dataset ingest/replay, * ground-truth and metrics, * pass/fail gating for releases. * Drive cross-functional execution with autonomy, ML, infra, and QA teams; ensure simulation results are trustworthy and comparable over time. * Establish performance dashboards and quality standards (coverage, determinism, regression detection, time-to-signal). * Post-launch: improve developer/user experience, shorten feedback loops, and reduce “unknown unknowns” in field behavior.
Requirements * 3–5+ years in product management for developer tools, ML platforms, robotics software, or complex technical products. * Strong analytical mindset: can define metrics and evaluation protocols, not just features. * Comfortable collaborating deeply with engineering teams on architecture tradeoffs and iterative delivery. * Proven ability to turn ambiguous R&D needs into a crisp roadmap and specs. * Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Fluent in Ukrainian, English B2+.
Nice to have * Experience with robotics simulation, autonomy evaluation, computer vision pipelines, or test infrastructure. * Background in QA/verification, safety-critical systems, or performance engineering.
