We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer to perform manual testing of an innovative AI context-engineering platform.

i3DESIGN is a Japanese forward-thinking technology and design company investing in cutting-edge AI tooling for real-world use. We are developing a context-engineering platform that changes how AI supports software development and team workflows.
It is about a next-generation solution that helps engineering teams work with AI more efficiently, accurately, and at scale by providing a single, structured source of context across projects and tools.
The project has been in active development for 11 months. A stable alpha version is already running internally and used daily by multiple engineering teams. As we move toward our first public release, we are expanding our small but highly professional R&D team.
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented QA Engineer / Software Tester who wants to be part of an early-stage AI product and influence its quality, stability, and usability from the ground up.
In this role, you will work closely with product managers, developers, and designers to ensure the product meets high quality standards while evolving rapidly in an R&D environment.
Main responsibilities: * Execute manual testing to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle; * Create and maintain the QA documentation (test plans, test cases); * Communicate with developers and a project manager.
Our ideal QA: * Has at least 6 months year of experience in a similar position; * Knows English at the Upper Intermediate level to work with test documentation and write tickets; * Has a good understanding of QA essentials and theory and knowledge of issue-tracking systems; * Has practical skills in manual testing for web applications and API (optional); * Understands of HTML + CSS essentials; * Utilizes Postman, DBeaver or any other DB testing tools (optional); * Confidently conducts cross-browser and cross-platform testing; * Attentive to details and intolerant of mistakes; * Thinks positively and easily finds a common language with different people, and knows how to work in a team.
Will be a plus: * Motivation & experience of using AI agents at work; * Understands prompts and MCP extensions; * Ability to check layouts Pixel-perfectly; * Experience with testing complex business flows of corporate-like level projects; * Has solid understanding and hands-on experience in test case design; * Familiar with various testing methods; * Experience in testing multicomponent systems (web services/SQL DB’s/third-party integrations).
