About Binariks is looking for a Software QA Manager who is passionate about quality, automation, and continuous improvement, and who can lead QA practices while staying hands-on with testing activities. What We’re Looking For: * 5+ years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance (manual and automation) * Strong experience testing web applications and/or APIs * Leadership experience * Solid understanding of QA principles and practices, including test planning, test case design, regression testing, and defect management * Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) * Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with close collaboration across engineering and product teams * Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain quality risks and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders * Proven ability to prioritize work, stay organized, and meet deadlines without compromising quality * English Upper-Intermediate or higher
Will be a plus: * Experience testing systems hosted in cloud environments (MS Azure or other platforms) * Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation techniques * Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) from a QA/testing perspective * Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines * Background in insurance, fintech, or other regulated industries
Your Responsibilities: * Lead and grow a QA team, providing mentoring and hands-on support in both manual and automated testing * Participate in hiring, onboarding, and development of QA engineers as the team scales * Define, own, and continuously improve the testing strategy for web applications, APIs, and system integrations * Balance test automation and manual testing to ensure optimal coverage, efficiency, and product quality * Drive and maintain regression, smoke, performance, and exploratory testing practices * Establish, track, and report QA metrics and KPIs (defect rates, test coverage, escape rate, etc.) to make quality transparent * Work closely with development, product owners, and Scrum masters to align quality goals with sprint and release plans * Ensure testing is fully integrated into the SDLC, with clear acceptance criteria defined upfront * Advocate for best practices in test automation, CI/CD, and shift-left testing * Support teams in building testable, reliable, and high-performing systems * Ensure adherence to operational standards, security, and compliance requirements * Promote continuous learning and improvement as tools and technologies evolve
