We’re looking for a hands-on Full Stack Tech Lead to join SciPlay’s SciTech group. The platform team behind our core systems, including payments and e-commerce flows. You’ll take ownership of technical direction, lead by example, and stay deeply involved in coding and solution design.
Key Responsibilities: * Own architecture, design decisions, and technical standards across the stack * Drive engineering best practices, code quality, scalability, and technical excellence * Develop and maintain back-end services with C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core. * Build and optimize mobile-first web apps using TypeScript, React, and JSX. * Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and services across the full SDLC. * Collaborate with product and business stakeholders * Lead code reviews and promote best practices, performance, and security.
Requirements: * 7+ years of full-stack development experience. * Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Engineer owning complex systems * Strong back-end skills in C#, .NET, JavaScript, or Python. * Solid knowledge of SQL & NoSQL databases, distributed systems, and microservices architecture. * Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP). * Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue. * Strong front-end skills with HTML, CSS, and modern best practices. * Experience with modern version control systems (Git, Mercurial). * Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
Nice to have: * Previous tech lead experience. * Experience with e-commerce platforms, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), and AWS services (RDS, DynamoDB, ECS, Fargate). * Familiarity with microservices (Node.js, Lambda) and containerization (Docker, Vagrant). * Background working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments.
