We are looking for a Senior .Net Engineer to help assess, design, and deliver a cloud migration program for a client in the chemical process simulation domain. In this role, you will contribute to modernizing an existing on-premises solution into a scalable SaaS platform, supporting the migration to cloud. You’ll work on core backend components in .NET/C#, ensure reliable cloud-ready architecture and performance, and build/maintain integrations with leading third-party industrial platforms, including AspenTech, Honeywell KBC, Siemens, ABB, and Yokogawa.
Responsibilities: * Design and implement scalable, secure, and performant microservices using .NET * Collaborate closely with SA, BA, QA, Frontend developers, PM, DevOps, and other backend engineers. * Participate in architectural design and technical solution discussions. * Integrate third-party authentication systems (OpenID Connect, SSO). * Write clean, testable, and maintainable code. * Take part in internal project validation and consultations prior to implementation.
Qualifications & Skills: * 5+ years of experience with C# and .NET, ASP.NET Core, an open-source web development framework | .NET development. * Solid knowledge of Azure services and deployment. * Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, and similar. * Hands-on experience with OpenID Connect or other SSO authentication mechanisms. * Strong understanding of multi-tenant SaaS architecture and best practices * Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation) * Strong understanding of application containerization ( Docker, K8S ) and virtualization ( virtual machines ) * Understanding of software design principles and microservices architecture. * Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher. * Experience with real-time data processing and streaming analytics"
Nice To Have: * Experience with time-series databases, preferably InfluxDB * Experience with Blazor Framework will be a big plus * Experience in oil & gas or chemical process industries * Experience as a Tech/Team Lead will be a big plus
