We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer (React, Next.js) with 5+ years of experience, an upper-intermediate+ level of English and fluent Ukrainian to join our team.

About the Project We are building a modern operating system for risk, compliance, and vendor management in the U.S. mortgage industry is a $12T+ market still relying on fragmented, outdated tools. Our goal is to become the default compliance platform for mortgage companies nationwide, with 10,000+ companies using the product daily by the end of 2026.
You will join a small, senior, high-ownership team: * 2 Founders (product, strategy, customer-facing) * 1 Founding Engineer (full-stack, infrastructure)

Tech Stack: Frontend: Next.js, React (custom hooks, components), Redux Backend: Express, MongoDB + Mongoose, CRON jobs Infrastructure: Railway, MongoDB Atlas, AWS S3, Sentry Language: JavaScript (migrating to TypeScript in 2026—this is a major priority) Tooling: Slack, Linear, Loom, AI dev tools (Cursor, Roo Code) If you’re thinking “I’d change half of this,” good. Must-Have Experience * Strong experience with React and modern frontend development * Proven ability to build polished, user-facing interfaces with high attention to detail * Experience owning frontend features end-to-end, from idea to production * Solid understanding of modern JavaScript (TypeScript experience preferred) * Strong grasp of UI/UX principles, component design, and consistency * Experience collaborating closely with product and backend teams * Comfortable working with evolving requirements and limited specifications
Nice to have: * Experience with TypeScript (or strong interest in migrating a codebase) * Familiarity with AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) and integration patterns * Background in fintech, compliance, or regulated industries * Experience with automated testing, QA processes, and error monitoring tools (Sentry, etc.)
Responsibilities * Build polished, intuitive user interfaces using React and Next.js * Own frontend features end-to-end, from concept to release and iteration * Translate ambiguous requirements into clear, user-friendly UI solutions * Obsess over UI/UX details: spacing, hierarchy, states, edge cases, and consistency * Improve and maintain a high-quality component system and frontend architecture * Ensure frontend performance, reliability, and graceful error handling * Continuously raise the quality bar by refining existing UI and eliminating UX friction * Collaborate closely with product and backend to deliver thoughtful, cohesive experiences
