We are seeking an experienced Senior PHP Engineer to join our team to modernize and enhance existing systems. This role is critical for ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability across our architecture. Key Responsibilities * Improve and modernize an existing system to ensure high performance and scalability. * Analyze current system architecture and identify areas for enhancement and optimization. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and maintainable solutions. * Implement best practices for development, testing, and deployment.
Requirements * Solid knowledge of OOP, design patterns, development principles, and best practices. * Strong proficiency in PHP 7.x+. * Experience working with the Yii2 framework. * Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and experience converting designs into responsive, user-friendly interfaces. * Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly Angular (version 7.x) will be a plus. * Experience working with Elasticsearch. * Understanding of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS) and general cloud best practices. * Knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitLab). * Strong knowledge of database design and optimization (MySQL, MariaDB). * Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks (PHPUnit, Codeception). * Excellent analytical skills to diagnose and resolve system issues effectively. * Proactive mindset with the ability to lead initiatives and drive solutions. * Strong communication skills with at least B2 English for global team collaboration. * Basic knowledge and hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor).
