Ciklum is looking for a Senior Go Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:
As a Senior Go Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. Together, we will work on the project focused on building a cybersecurity platform that secures private cellular networks for large enterprises, providing advanced security controls and operational visibility for isolated network environments.
Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and maintain backend services written in Go as part of a large-scale cybersecurity product * Work on an event-driven backend architecture leveraging message brokers such as Kafka or NATS * Implement and optimise Go concurrency mechanisms including goroutines, channels, and synchronisation primitives * Build scalable and reliable services running on Kubernetes-based infrastructure * Own code quality end-to-end including design, implementation, testing, and production readiness * Collaborate within a cross-functional squad including backend, frontend, QA, and DevOps * Contribute to a long-term product codebase * Follow and help shape engineering standards and best practices under the guidance of Tech Leads * Participate in technical discussions, reviews, and architectural decisions within the team
Requirements: * 3+ years of experience developing backend systems * Strong knowledge, experience, and proficiency with the Go programming language * Extensive experience with large-scale databases such as PostgreSQL and Neo4j * Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud design patterns * Experience in developing distributed, event-driven systems * Broad knowledge of container ecosystems and orchestration tools including Docker and Kubernetes * Experience with AWS cloud services * Proficiency in REST APIs, gRPC, message brokers such as Kafka or NATS, and server-side API integration * Background in cybersecurity, Linux, and networking
