What You’ll Be Driving: — Designing and implementing comprehensive test strategies and plans to ensure high-quality software delivery; — Developing, reviewing, and maintaining detailed test cases and automated/manual test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing; — Building and maintaining test automation frameworks from scratch, selecting appropriate tools and technologies; — Reviewing test code and scenarios from team members to ensure quality and best practices; — Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects, ensuring timely resolution and re-testing; — Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure software quality; — Mentoring and guiding junior QA engineers, fostering professional growth and development; — Defining, tracking, and reporting key quality metrics to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement; — Conducting performance, load, and security testing to ensure software reliability under varying conditions; — Maintaining comprehensive documentation of test plans, cases, results, and processes; — Driving continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and methodologies; — Working with monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana) and setting necessary metrics; — Communicating test results, issues, risks, and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.
What Makes You a GR8 Fit: — Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA, test automation, or related roles; — Strong programming skills in Java, with experience in UI frameworks (Selenide, Playwright) and API frameworks (Rest Assured, Retrofit2); — Hands-on experience with test frameworks like TestNG or JUnit5, and reporting tools such as Allure or ReportPortal; — Understanding of system analysis, software architecture patterns, microservice and monolith architectures, and event-driven/resilient systems; — Knowledge of database concepts, SQL, relational/non-relational databases, query optimization, and performance tuning; — Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, DevOps), version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI), and code review processes; — Strong problem-solving, analytical, critical thinking, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills; — Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences; — Experience in designing test strategies, quality gates, and starting automation processes from scratch; — Ability to write structured, maintainable tests and debug complex software issues; — At least an Intermediate level of English.
