About the role:
We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join our talented R&D team. The team provides APIs and tools for the Client’s data collection that is used to identify risks, patch vulnerabilities, and fortify customer infrastructure, along with UI pages that display detection results, incidents, and dashboards to provide actionable visibility into the environment. Our Client is changing the way organizations protect their data-centers and clouds from advanced threats. Our team boasts some of the most talented and experienced cybersecurity and data center experts. We’re always looking for new people to inspire us and make us better.
Responsibilities: * Leading new features and problem-solving from requirements to delivery across the product areas and technologies * Writing reliable, efficient, secure, and scalable Python code * Collaborating with different engineering teams, product teams, customer success, and professional services * Researching and providing solutions to complex problems * Communicating effectively with our internal Hunt Platform team as a customer — a highly technical team within the company — which simplifies collaboration, accelerates feedback loops, and ensures clarity in requirements
Requirements: * Have 5+ Years of experience in object-oriented software development and building REST APIs * Have 2+ Years of experience in E2E design and implementation of features as part of large-scale backend projects * Have experience in Backend Development using Python * Have experience working with Linux-based systems * Have familiarity with some of the following technologies: MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, and other big-data platforms * Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude
