This is the job We are looking for a Middle Data Engineer with hands-on experience in Databricks and Python (PySpark) to support clinical data surveillance and feasibility analytics initiatives.
In this role, you will contribute to building and maintaining data pipelines, help enforce GxP-compliant data processes, support role-based access control for sensitive datasets, and participate in integrating Databricks with enterprise platforms such as Azure and SNAP.
This is you * Hands-on experience with Databricks and Python (PySpark) * Understanding of clinical or regulated data environments (GxP as a plus) * Basic to intermediate experience with data security concepts (RBAC, access control, permissions) * Experience working with ETL / ELT pipelines and data engineering best practices * Familiarity with Python visualization libraries (Plotly, matplotlib, seaborn) * Experience working with data from multiple sources * Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn * Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders
This is your role * Develop and maintain data pipelines using Databricks and PySpark * Support clinical data surveillance workflows under guidance of senior engineers * Assist in implementing GxP-compliant data handling and documentation * Help manage role-based access control for sensitive datasets * Contribute to Databricks integration with Azure and SNAP platforms * Match, merge, and standardize data from internal and external sources * Create and maintain standardized queries (e.g. ICD-10 codes) * Build unified datasets optimized for reporting, charting, and analytics
