As a Performance Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for paid user acquisition for Binary Studio Academy across multiple international markets.
This role is focused on planning, executing, and improving paid campaigns, with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision-making and experimentation. You’ll work closely with the Head of Academy to review past performance, test new hypotheses, and optimize acquisition strategies for upcoming Academy cohorts.
While paid acquisition is the core of the role, you’ll also have the opportunity to contribute insights to related areas such as landing pages, influencer marketing, and PR — without being expected to own everything end-to-end.
This role is a good fit if you enjoy: * Working with real data and real constraints * Explaining why something works or doesn’t * Testing ideas rather than blindly scaling budgets * Having ownership without unnecessary bureaucracy
About Binary Studio Academy The Binary Studio Academy is a highly selective training program designed for university students studying Computer Science and Engineering. Participants receive hands-on experience in software development through practical training in JavaScript, mobile development, and quality assurance. Academy is free for applicants.
Working under the guidance of experienced engineers and product owners, students complete real MVP projects in a simulated commercial environment. The program culminates in a demo day similar to those held in a startup incubator, allowing students to present their projects and receive feedback from industry professionals.
Upon graduation, we handpick the cream of the crop — top-performing engineers whose knowledge and experience match that of mid-level professionals in other companies. These new hires bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to our clients’ projects, adding significant value to their businesses. Key responsibilities Paid acquisition (core focus): * Plan, launch, and optimize paid campaigns (primarily Meta Ads) for Binary Studio Academy * Work with multiple geographies: Ukraine, Europe, Latin America, Asia * Review historical campaign data and identify improvement opportunities * Formulate and test hypotheses (creatives, audiences, funnels, geos) * Clearly explain performance dynamics (e.g. CPL changes, scaling limits, saturation)
Strategy & analysis: * Evaluate budget efficiency and justify scaling or reductions with data * Prepare concise performance reports with insights, not just metrics * Collaborate on acquisition strategy for new Academy tracks or cohorts
Support areas (secondary, optional): * Assist with influencer marketing research and coordination in key geos * Support PR initiatives with data or distribution insights * Provide input on landing page optimization from a conversion perspective

Mindset matters more than tools:
We value critical thinking, transparency, and ownership over blind execution. A strong plus * Experience with education products or lead-generation funnels * Experience assisting with influencer marketing or PR campaigns * Ability to work independently in a part-time / seasonal format * Experience auditing or improving existing ad accounts
Format & collaboration * Part-time / seasonal engagement (aligned with Academy cycles) * Close collaboration with the Head of Academy * Clear goals, clear scope, and realistic expectations
What we offer * Opportunity to influence how an international education product grows * Freedom to test hypotheses and challenge existing approaches * Direct impact and visibility of your work * Collaborative, respectful culture with high standards
