We are looking for an Upwork Lead Generation Specialist responsible for sourcing opportunities, submitting bids, and creating initial lead records for the Upwork sales funnel. Key Responsibilities: 1. Opportunity Sourcing & Bidding * Search and identify relevant projects on Upwork * Select opportunities aligned with ICP and target deal sizes * Submit bids using approved templates and positioning * Customize bids when required to improve relevance * Maintain steady and consistent bidding volume
2. Upwork Profile Operation * Work with assigned Upwork profiles * Ensure all bids align with profile positioning and services * Follow approved messaging frameworks * Maintain consistency across all bids and profiles
3. Initial Lead Qualification * Evaluate incoming job posts for: relevance, budget signals, scope realism; * Avoid bidding on low-quality or unrealistic opportunities; * Focus on leads that can realistically convert into deals;
4. CRM Lead Creation & Handoff * Create initial lead records in CRM (Pipedrive) when a client replies; * Capture key context from the job post and bid; * Assign or hand off leads to Sales / SDR according to process; * Ensure clean and accurate data at the start of the pipeline.
5. Collaboration & Feedback * Work closely with Sales / SDR team; * Share feedback on: lead quality, recurring client needs, objections seen in job posts; * Adjust sourcing and bidding strategy based on results.
6. Process Adherence & Discipline * Follow internal lead generation and qualification guidelines; * Maintain bidding discipline and consistency; * Track basic activity metrics (bids, replies); * Continuously improve targeting and efficiency.
Requirements: * Experience with Upwork lead generation; * Understanding of Upwork job search and filtering; * Ability to evaluate project relevance and deal with potential; * Strong written English; * Attention to detail and consistency; * Experience with CRM systems (Pipedrive is a plus).
