Direct contract with the client! We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join a European product company, with a focus on further growth into Project Management. English is the working language (daily spoken and written communication).
This is not a classic Manual QA role. We are looking for a proactive, communicative person who is comfortable working in a startup-like environment: fast pace, direct interaction, close communication with the team and stakeholders, and minimal formalities.
At the start, the role is focused on manual QA. In practice, however, this position is for someone who wants to actively participate in discussions, clarify requirements, keep the process in focus, and gradually take on more management-related responsibilities. QA here is a starting point, not a final destination.
The project is a European product developing its own solutions in the areas of AI, business process automation, and intelligent analytics.
The team is compact and technical, with direct communication, a high level of autonomy, and fast decision-making. Responsibilities At the start (Manual QA): * Manual testing of web and mobile applications * Creating, maintaining, and updating test scenarios * Integration testing and API testing (Postman, Swagger) * Requirements analysis, identifying edge cases, and active clarification of details * Daily interaction with developers, analysts, and the product team
In the future (Project Management functions): * Clarifying and formalizing requirements with stakeholders * Planning and coordinating the team’s work * Tracking task statuses and deadlines * Running regular syncs and updates * Working with risks, documentation, and continuous process improvement
Requirements Must have: * 3+ years of Manual QA experience * Strong understanding of testing principles and SDLC * Experience creating full test documentation * Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment * Experience with task trackers (Jira or similar) * English — confident Intermediate+ (the constant working language of the team)
Especially important for us: * A proactive mindset and the ability to work without strict instructions * Clear communication skills, with the ability to ask questions and negotiate * Responsibility for results, not only for one’s own tasks * Comfort with startup dynamics, change, and uncertainty
Nice to have: * Experience coordinating tasks or internal initiatives * Experience with or interest in the AI domain * Clear motivation to grow into Project Management
If you’re looking to combine strong QA expertise with a gradual transition into management responsibilities, we’ll be happy to receive your CV)
