We are seeking a highly skilled T4 Engineer to be the key person in ensuring the stability and reliability of our mission-critical global platforms.
Your Role This position is for a T4 (Tier 4) High-Level Escalation Engineer who stands at the forefront of ensuring the continuity and resilience of systems in one of the most demanding Enterprise environments. You are not just “support”; you are the ultimate authority for resolving the most complex, non-trivial incidents and problems impacting millions of users in real-time.
Requirements:
— Super high level of professional responsibility. — Experience (2+ Years) in Linux System Administration. — Containerization: Knowledge of and experience with container technologies — Docker, Kubernetes (Vanilla and EKS). Basic knowledge, required for diagnosing application issues within the cluster. — Fundamental knowledge of networking. — Experience working with databases — simple querying for basic diagnostics of application issues. — Stack Balance: Understanding of the best practices of both classic and modern technology stacks. — Ability to respond on critical incidents during non-working hours. — English: B2 (Conversational) — for effective communication within an international team. — Enterprise Mindset: Understanding of Enterprise-level system design and operation — Hardened environment, Centralized systems, Operation and Maintenance, ITIL-aware specifics), advocacy of security principles.
Responsibilities:
— Tier 4 Escalation & Troubleshooting: Act as the primary engineer and assistant for troubleshooting, resolving and further escalation to respective teams (DevOps, Cloud/System, DB Engineering, Software Development) incidents derived from lower levels of Support, IM/PM, Monitoring etc. — Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Participate in analysis of the root causes of issues where applicable. — System Operation and Maintenance: Responsible for configuration of applications and intercommunication also preferred to contribute in the administration and deployment of systems. — Monitoring and Optimization: Observe system performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and reduce incidents, push improvements to monitoring team. — Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation and the Knowledge Base to enhance the efficiency of the T4-related processes. — Team Collaboration: Intensive collaboration with Customer Support, Operations and Development teams.
Not required, but preferred: — Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS). — Experience with Java Applications. — Experience with any Application Performance Monitoring system like DataDog, Dynatrace. — Experience with Terraform. — Experience with Ansible.
