Weʼre seeking a Product Owner to lead product development for one specific project within our existing product ecosystem. Youʼll work as part of a unified product team alongside other Product Owners who manage different branches of the product, ensuring alignment across initiatives while maintaining ownership of your dedicated area.
Youʼll lead your project from concept to launch, with a focus on building MVPs and scaling them through iterative improvements. Youʼll own the entire product lifecycle for your branch, from initial user journey mapping through identifying optimization opportunities and managing risks throughout delivery.
Requirements:
● Proven experience launching products from zero to production, with specific examples of MVP delivery and subsequent iterations.
● Strong background in writing BRDs, user journey mapping, and conversion optimization.
● Strong understanding of product metrics and analytics to identify and measure the impact of changes.
● Experience conducting competitor analysis to inform product strategy.
● Demonstrated ability to identify product gaps, technical dependencies, and risk points early in the development cycle.
● Experience managing scope changes and working within technical constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
● Launching your project from scratch, starting with MVP definition and roadmap planning:
— creating comprehensive Business Requirements Documents that align stakeholders and engineering teams on scope, success metrics, and technical approach;
— conduct thorough competitor research and analysis to inform product positioning and feature prioritization.
● Collaborating with designers to describe detailed user flows and iterate on prototypes using Figma, ensuring seamless handoff to development teams.
● Managing change requests and navigating technical limitations is part of daily operations. Youʼll balance stakeholder needs against technical constraints, making informed tradeoff decisions while keeping delivery on track.
● Proactively identifying gaps in requirements, technical risks, and potential blockers before they impact delivery, using the Atlassian suite for delivery management and transparency. Youʼll collaborate closely with other Product Owners to ensure consistency and leverage shared learnings across the product team.
● User journey mapping and optimization:
— identify friction points and improvement opportunities throughout the customer experience;
— define and track key product metrics to measure the impact of changes, using data to validate hypotheses and guide iteration decisions.
