About the role: We are looking for a proactive Junior Analytics Engineer to join a dynamic data squad. In this role, you will be responsible for building and deploying analytical solutions, working closely under the guidance of London-based leads. You must be technically capable of executing tasks with a high degree of independence, ensuring that data pipelines are robust and data products are deployed efficiently.
Responsibilities: — Solution Deployment: Build, test, and deploy analytical solutions and data pipelines following best practices established by Senior leads. — Data Transformation: Write clean, efficient SQL/Python code to transform raw data into usable assets for reporting and analysis. — Execution & Independence: Work fairly independently on assigned tasks, proactively troubleshooting technical issues and delivering high-quality work within agreed timelines. — Maintenance: Monitor data pipelines and assist in debugging operational issues to ensure data availability.
Requirements: — 1–3 years of experience in data analytics or engineering. — Strong proficiency in SQL (working knowledge of Python is highly desirable). — Experience with modern data stacks (e.g., dbt, cloud data warehouses). — Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with onshore teams.
Preferred: — Prior exposure to consumer data domains such as Loyalty, Promotions, Subscriptions, or E-commerce.
