QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS * 3+ years of experience in UX/Product design, preferably within a SaaS * Extensive experience in Figma designing components, prototypes, and maintaining design systems * Strong portfolio showcasing product thinking, interaction design, and user-centered problem-solving * Experience working in cross-functional product teams using Agile or Scrum * Understanding of front-end technologies (React, CSS) and how design translates to code * Proven ability to provide design critique, and coach junior team members
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Experience with design handoff tools such as Zeplin or Figma Dev Mode * Familiarity with React component libraries (e.g., Material, Chakra UI) * Experience with user testing, research tools, or product analytics (e.g., FullStory, GA) * Previous experience in fast-paced startup environments
RESPONSIBILITIES * Partner with product managers to translate user stories and requirements into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes * Rapidly iterate on design concepts and user flows using Figma to support product development sprints * Collaborate with engineers to ensure a seamless handoff and implementation of UI/UX designs * Design user-centered interfaces that are consistent, accessible, and aligned with product goals * Maintain and evolve the shared product component library in Figma, ensuring consistency and scalability across the design system * Support and coach a junior UX designer, providing guidance, design feedback, and support for their professional development * Lead design reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in design quality * Validate design decisions through usability testing, stakeholder feedback, and iterative experimentation * Stay up to date with UX best practices, design trends, and front-end development pattern
