We are looking for a Python Backend Developer to join a greenfield in-flight POS project for airlines. Duration: 5-6 months.
Requirements * 4–5 years of experience in Python backend development * Strong knowledge of Python, FastAPI / Django REST, PostgreSQL, Redis * Proficiency with Docker, CI/CD, XML/JSON API, OAuth2/JWT
Will be a plus:
— Experience with RabbitMQ / Kafka — Experience with Sentry/Prometheus — Experience with fiscal systems, POS interfaces, or payment domain knowledge
Responsibilities * Develop and maintain backend services in Python * Build REST APIs for POS and other system integrations * Integrate third-party services and payment solutions * Ensure high code quality, logging, and monitoring
Project Description
Greenfield POS project with features including dynamic payment configuration, PIN validation, complex discounts, fiscal functions, Wi-Fi management, POS health monitoring, combo products, and full compliance with local regulations. Warehouse API integration provided.
