As a Middle Atlassian Engineer, you will play a critical role in the administration, configuration, and optimization of Atlassian products to support the organization’s collaboration, project management, and software development needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Be Driving: — Administering and configuring Jira and Confluence across different deployment types (Server, Data Center, Cloud); — Customizing Atlassian products to meet the organization’s workflows and business requirements; — Designing and implementing workflows, issue types, custom fields, and screen layouts; — Managing plugins and add-ons from the Atlassian Marketplace to extend the functionality of Atlassian products; — Evaluating, installing, and ensuring the compatibility and performance of plugins; — Integrating Atlassian products with other tools and systems using REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations; — Leveraging knowledge of Atlassian products’ APIs to enhance functionality and streamline processes; — Developing and maintaining scripts in Groovy (ScriptRunner), PowerScripts, Python, or Bash to automate tasks; — Creating simple automation workflows to improve productivity and efficiency; — Writing and executing SQL queries to manage and extract data from Atlassian products; — Performing database-related tasks to support the administration and optimization of Atlassian tools; — Providing support to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and drive continuous improvement initiatives; — Configuring Jira projects and boards to align with Agile and Scrum practices; — Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Atlassian tools, ensuring optimal performance; — Continuously optimizing configurations and workflows to enhance user experience and tool efficiency; — Documenting configurations, processes, and procedures for the administration and customization of Atlassian products; — Generating reports and dashboards to provide insights into tool usage, project status, and performance metrics; — Staying updated on new features, best practices, and industry trends related to Atlassian products.
