About Lemon.io Lemon.io connects tech teams with vetted software engineers from Europe and Latin America. Thousands of companies used us to find reliable developers quickly.
We have made real progress with organic traffic, but our growth is not yet consistent.
We have thousands of product pages, strong domain authority, a large opportunity in SEO and LLM discovery, and high-quality leads already coming through this channel. We need the right person to turn this into a predictable engine.
This role is for someone who can take us from 1 to 10 and then to 100 in organic growth.
About the Role We are looking for someone who can own the entire organic channel across search engines and LLMs. You should have meaningful experience working on large, competitive sites and know how to turn existing assets into a compounding inbound system.
This is a hands-on role.
You will define the strategy, run the experiments, build the systems, and execute the work yourself, supported by contractors and, over time, by a team you help shape.
You should be comfortable working across technical SEO, content architecture, entity and LLM optimization, and high velocity experimentation. You will collaborate closely with engineering, content, design, and external partners when needed.
If you enjoy building organic engines from the ground up and you prefer moving fast over talking about frameworks, you will fit here.
What You Will Do: * Build and own Lemon’s organic growth engine across SEO and LLM channels. * Identify and scale opportunities across thousands of existing product pages. * Design and improve page templates and structures that compound across the site. * Work with engineering on technical SEO, structured data, crawling, and template-level improvements. * Work with writers to produce and optimize content that strengthens topical and entity authority. * Use AI to scale research, clustering, content structuring, and experimentation. * Run competitive analysis to understand where we can move fastest. * Build, measure, improve, and repeat until growth becomes systematic.
Who You Are: * A senior, hands-on SEO growth builder with experience scaling large, multi-thousand-page sites. * Someone who has driven organic growth in the US market with real competition. * Fluent in modern SEO for 2025 including LLM visibility, entity-based ranking, structured data, and answer-level optimization. * A hybrid operator who defines the strategy and executes it personally. * Comfortable using AI to scale research, content output, analysis, and experiments.
Who You Are Not: * Not a manager looking to run a team. This begins as a one-person role supported by contractors. * Not an agency-style SEO who mainly creates audits or best practice documents. * Not someone who only worked on small sites, blog-only SEO, or low competition environments. * Not slow, traditional, or overly cautious. You learn by shipping and iterating. * Not a linkbuilder-only, keyword-only, or technical-only specialist. You own the entire organic discovery channel.
What Success Looks Like At 3 months: * Complete, actionable assessment of our organic opportunities across technical SEO, content architecture, and LLM visibility. * 10 to 20 high-impact technical or content improvements shipped (template changes, internal linking, structured data, entity fixes, priority-page upgrades). * Early improvements in organic SQLs, with a goal of around 10 percent growth.
At 6 months: * Systematic improvements across 1,000+ not just isolated wins. * A consistent experimentation cadence (4 to 8 experiments per month with reporting). * Meaningful movement in core categories: increased impressions and clicks across the top 3 to 5 strategic themes. * Visible and measurable presence in LLM results. * Consistent upward trend in organic SQLs, reaching approximately 50 percent growth compared to the starting baseline.
At 12 months: * A predictable, compounding organic growth engine that consistently produces SQLs at scale. * Full structural improvements deployed across thousands of pages. * Strong entity and topic authority in our core market categories, reflected in sustained ranking improvements across hundreds of pages. * A compounding organic engine producing roughly 3x the qualified SQLs we generate today. * LLM visibility across a majority of strategically important categories. * Quantifiable themes: pages impacted, SQL growth, category dominance, LLM scaling.
