As we launch the development of our B2B SaaS Platform, we are seeking our first and lead Product Designer to join the team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the product’s user experience from the ground up and set the design vision for a SaaS that will be used by companies worldwide. Role Overview
As the Lead Product Designer, you will be owning the end-to-end UX/UI design of our marketing product. In this hands-on role, you’ll drive the design of new features and improvements from concept to final implementation, ensuring a world-class experience for all users. You will work closely with the founders, product managers, and engineers to shape product strategy and roadmap from a design perspective. Being the first design hire, you’ll have significant influence on our product’s direction, design culture, and processes, and you’ll lay the groundwork for a future design team as the company grows.
Key Responsibilities * Design Ownership: Take full ownership of product design for our SaaS platform, crafting user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for new features and iterative improvements. Ensure the platform’s UX is intuitive, engaging, and consistent. * User-Centric Approach: Act as the voice of the user — conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand user needs and pain points. Translate insights into effective UX solutions that cater to SaaS platform users and client portal users. * End-to-End UX/UI: Design complex workflows for platform transactions and client portal interactions, covering everything from discovery and onboarding to dashboard analytics and settings. Simplify complicated processes into easy-to-use interfaces. * Design System & Visual Quality: Establish and maintain a design system (components, style guides, UX patterns) to ensure a cohesive look and feel across the platform. Deliver pixel-perfect visual designs with a strong attention to detail, striking a balance between aesthetics and usability. * Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams — Product Management, Engineering, QA, and Business Stakeholders — throughout the product lifecycle. Participate in planning and brainstorming to define the product roadmap and feature specifications. Communicate design rationale and gather feedback to achieve the best outcomes. * Leadership & Strategy: As the lead designer, contribute to high-level product strategy and decision-making. Champion UX best practices and a user-centred design mindset within the company. Mentor and guide team members (including future designers) in matters of UX/UI, and help build a strong design culture as we scale.
Required Qualifications * Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with designing B2B products or enterprise systems. Experience in SaaS, e-commerce, marketplaces, or enterprise software (CRM/ERP systems) is a big plus, as it shows ability to handle complex workflows and data-rich interfaces. Experience in gaming or iGaming is not required — in fact, we are ready to collaborate with someone without professional bias from iGaming to bring a fresh perspective and avoid inherited design patterns. * Experience: 5+ years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, or similar roles. Proven track record (portfolio) of designing and launching successful web platforms or applications. Experience with marketplace platforms, SaaS products, client portals, or other complex web applications is highly desirable. * UX/UI Skills: Exceptional skills in user experience design and user interface design. Ability to design intuitive navigation, clean layouts, and beautiful interfaces. Strong understanding of information architecture, interaction design, and visual design principles for web and mobile. * End-to-End Design: Hands-on experience with the full design process — from user research and ideation through wireframing, prototyping, UI design, user testing, and working with developers to implement designs. * Tools: Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools, especially Figma (our primary design tool). Bonus points for knowledge of additional tools like Sketch, Adobe XD, or prototyping software, as well as basic understanding of HTML/CSS to communicate effectively with developers. * Analytical & Research Skills: Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and analyzing user behavior/feedback. Comfortable using data and user insights to inform design decisions. * Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to articulate design decisions and the reasoning behind them to different stakeholders (developers, product managers, executives). Strong collaboration skills to work in a team environment. * Leadership Qualities: Self-motivated and proactive. Able to take ownership of design projects and drive them forward with minimal guidance. Previous experience leading design initiatives or mentoring other designers is a plus. * Adaptability: Comfortable working in an agile, fast-paced startup environment. Able to handle ambiguity and rapidly changing requirements, while keeping a clear focus on the user experience and business goals.
Nice-to-Have (Preferred Qualifications) * Design Leadership: Experience setting up a design team or establishing design processes from scratch. Ability to hire or mentor junior designers in the future. * Technical Insight: Basic familiarity with front-end development or working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS. This is not a coding role, but technical insight can improve collaboration with engineers and feasibility understanding. * Data-Driven Mindset: Experience with analytics tools or A/B testing product to validate design changes. * Multi-platform Design: Experience designing responsive web applications and maybe mobile interfaces, ensuring a seamless experience across devices.
