Python Developer (Remote — Strong Junior / Middle) This isn’t a checklist job — this is an opportunity to build real systems, take ownership of code, and evolve as a developer. We’re looking for someone who’s curious, hands-on, and ready to work on projects from scratch with a supportive team.
✨ What You’ll Do * Write efficient, clean, and maintainable Python code * Work with frameworks like Django, FastAPI, DRF * Refactor legacy code and fix bugs * Track tasks and timelines via Jira * Build and optimize database queries * Integrate REST APIs and WebSockets * Collaborate with the team across time zones * Participate in planning, estimates, and technical decisions * Work with CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments
✅ You’ll Thrive Here If You Have: * 2+ years of commercial experience with Python 3+ * Strong experience with Django, FastAPI, DRF, SQLAlchemy * Solid skills working with PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, or MongoDB * Experience using Redis, Celery, or Django Queues * Understanding of REST APIs, WebSockets, and background tasks * Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Git * Ability to write automated tests (e.g., using pytest) * Basic knowledge of microservice architecture and MVC+S principles * English level — Intermediate+ (for written and occasional spoken communication) * If based in Ukraine — stable electricity setup required (generator / UPS / power station)
Nice to Have: * Ability to understand and refactor someone else’s code * Basic frontend experience: JS, HTML * Experience designing database schemas and software architecture * Skills in optimizing DB queries
